Sheath Wedding Dress Silhouettes

Today I’m sharing Sheath Wedding Dress silhouettes which have become more popular in the last few years, specifically when the silhouette leans toward a mermaid shape towards its bottom. 

Often, you will see sheath gowns paired with detachable overskirts for a different look. I’ve also seen many African designers creating sheath gowns, which has helped them gain popularity. 

Characterized by a fitted bodice through the hip and thighs and finishing in a straight skirt shape, this style can also lean towards an A-line shape when made a bit wider from the thighs to the floor.
